I'm trying to make an easy guide for mailing things to Josh and Hana. JPay.com is not for Federal inmates so it won't help for Josh or Hana. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

    Josh

    Federal Detention Center
    Joshua David Evans
    79083-083 Unit FB
    PO Box 13900
    Seattle, Washington 98198

Rules and guidelines to be aware of pulled from the handbook of the facility housing each of them:
    Authorized mail includes letters,
magazines and paperback books. An inmate may receive hardcover publications,
newspapers, paperback books and magazines only from the publisher, book club or
    bookstore.

    Unauthorized mail includes
musical greeting cards, Polaroid photos, nude personal photos, plant material,
non-inspectable items, etc. All unauthorized mail will be returned to the sender
along with a rejection form explaining why the mail was rejected.

You may subscribe to publications if they are sent directly from the publisher
    and are pre-paid.

    Hana

    Federal Detention Center
    Hana Amal Beshara
    79085-083 Unit B1
    PO Box 2149
    Bryan, TX 77805

Incoming mail will be opened and searched for contraband and unauthorized material. Unauthorized material(i.e., body hair, plant shavings, small artifacts, sexually explicit personal photographs, musical cards, cassettetapes, stamps, stationary, lottery tickets, plastic cards, etc.) will be returned to the sender. NO PERSONALCHECKS will be accepted.

Inmates are prohibited from receiving computer diskettes or CD-ROMs. Computer-related books orpublications which contain sections on any type of programming languages or computer repair information willbe rejected.

All newspapers must be received directly from the publisher. Hard-cover books must also be received directlyfrom the publisher, a book club, or a bookstore. Soft-cover materials (paperback books and magazines) may bereceived from any source, however, the sender is to identify the contents of the envelope as "magazines". If theitem appears to be a package and the appropriate markings are not on the outside of the item, it will be treated asa package and returned to sender. Subscriptions to magazines must be made by utilization of a Form 24" toyour Counselor.

A news media representative who desires to make a visit or conduct an interview at an institutionmust make application in writing to the Warden, indicating he or she is familiar with the rules and regulations ofthe institution and agrees to comply with them.
If the institution is contacted by the news media regarding any inmate, staff will notify the inmate(s) todetermine if they will consent to an interview. If the inmate does not wish to consent, the news mediarepresentative will be informed and no interview will occur. If the inmate does consent, staff will evaluatewhether granting the request is warranted or appropriate. If staff determine the media contact may be permitted, arrangements for the contact will be made consistent with the requirements of Bureau policy.

Having money on your books is super important in jail since every thing costs money. How to send money to Hana in jail. I'll post Josh's info when he goes. You can send a money order or do western union for a fee. The post below has all the instructions.

Deposits to Commissary accounts from outside sources will be mailed to:

    Send a money order here....

    Federal Bureau of Prisons
    Hana Amal Beshara
    79085083
    Post Office Box 474701
    Des Moines, Iowa 50947-0001

Please notify all persons who send you funds they must send all funds to the national Lockbox mailing address (above) and adhere to the following instructions:Do NOT to enclose personal checks, letters, pictures or any other items in the envelope. Enclose only the allowable negotiable instrument. The national Lockbox cannot forward any items enclosed with the negotiable instrument to the inmate. Items, personal in nature, must be mailed directly to the Bureau of Prisons' institution where the inmate is housed.

Must have the inmate's committed name (no nicknames) and register number printed on all
money orders; U.S. Treasury, state, and local government checks; any foreign negotiable instruments payable in U.S. currency; and envelopes.Their name and return address must appear in the upper left hand corner of the envelope to ensure that their funds can be returned to them in the event that they cannot be posted to the inmate’s account.

Inmate’s families and friends may now send inmates funds through Western Union’s Quick Collect Program.

All funds sent via Western Union’s Quick Collect will be posted to the inmate's account within two to four hours, when those funds are sent between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST (seven days per week, including holidays). Funds received after 9:00 pm EST will be posted by 9:00 am EST the following morning.

Funds sent to an inmate through Western Union Quick Collect may be sent via one of the following ways:
    1) At an agent location with cash: The inmate’s family or friends must complete a Blue Quick CollectSend Form. To find the nearest agent they may call 1-800-325-6000 or go to www.westernunion.com
    2) By telephone using a credit/debit card: The inmate’s family or friends may simply call 1-800-634-3422, and press option 2.
    3) ONLINE using a credit/debit card: The inmate’s family and friends may go to www.westernunion.com.

    1) Select Bill Payment
    2) Select Quick Collect For each Western Union Quick Collect transaction, the following information must be provided:
    1) Inmate Register Number

    4) State code: DC

Please note that the inmate name and register number must be entered correctly, if the sender does not provide the correct information, the transaction cannot be completed. The City Code will always be: FBOP and the State Code will always be: DC

^^ I did this online and it cost me $8.95 in person I think it is $9.95 It's just the cost of the MO and the stamp to do it the other way.Attached to this post is the handbook from the Camp that Hana should be going to sometime this week. Feel free to read it if you have questions.

We here at NVF love the people at fightforthefuture.org. They have amazing initiatives that are getting things accomplished in the US legislative process. Tomorrow there is an internet strike in which sites all over the web shut down to protest PIPA and SOPA in hopes they will stall or be rejected all together.

NinjaVideoForum.net will be participating in this event - so we know you'll miss the forum for the 12 hours between 9am-9pm EST but we swear it's for a great cause.
