Please notify all persons who send you funds they must send all funds to the national Lockbox mailing address (above) and adhere to the following instructions:Do NOT to enclose personal checks, letters, pictures or any other items in the envelope. Enclose only the allowable negotiable instrument. The national Lockbox cannot forward any items enclosed with the negotiable instrument to the inmate. Items, personal in nature, must be mailed directly to the Bureau of Prisons' institution where the inmate is housed.

Must have the inmate's committed name (no nicknames) and register number printed on all money orders; U.S. Treasury, state, and local government checks; any foreign negotiable instruments payable in U.S. currency; and envelopes.Their name and return address must appear in the upper left hand corner of the envelope to ensure that their funds can be returned to them in the event that they cannot be posted to the inmate’s account.

Inmate’s families and friends may now send inmates funds through Western Union’s Quick Collect Program.

All funds sent via Western Union’s Quick Collect will be posted to the inmate's account within two to four hours, when those funds are sent between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. EST (seven days per week, including holidays). Funds received after 9:00 pm EST will be posted by 9:00 am EST the following morning.

Funds sent to an inmate through Western Union Quick Collect may be sent via one of the following ways:
1) At an agent location with cash: The inmate’s family or friends must complete a Blue Quick CollectSend Form. To find the nearest agent they may call 1-800-325-6000 or go to www.westernunion.com
2) By telephone using a credit/debit card: The inmate’s family or friends may simply call 1-800-634-3422, and press option 2.
3) ONLINE using a credit/debit card: The inmate’s family and friends may go to www.westernunion.com.

1) Select Bill Payment
2) Select Quick Collect For each Western Union Quick Collect transaction, the following information must be provided:
1) Inmate Register Number
2) Inmate Name
3) City code: FBOP
4) State code: DC

Please note that the inmate name and register number must be entered correctly, if the sender does not provide the correct information, the transaction cannot be completed. The City Code will always be: FBOP and the State Code will always be: DC

^^ I did this online and it cost me $8.95 in person I think it is $9.95 It's just the cost of the MO and the stamp to do it the other way.Attached to this post is the handbook from the Camp that Hana should be going to sometime this week. Feel free to read it if you have questions.

Sending mail to Hana

Hana is in transit to her permanent jail so let's hold off on letters just for a little bit! I will keep you posted of course.

I have checked out the webpage of the Alexandria Detention Center and found this info in the FAQ "Q: What items can be sent through the mail to an inmate at the Detention Center? A:The Detention Center only accepts letters through the mail. You may send pictures of the non-polaroid type, no larger than 4" x 6", however, each inmate may have only 10 pictures in their possession." This is the listed address Detention Center - Alexandria Detention Center 2001 Mill Road Alexandria, Virginia 22314 If you feel so inclined, please send her mail. I don't think she'll even mind troll mail. Taking the time to spew hate is still taking the time to express your emotion and that's awesome. That's just my silly take on it. It is with a heavy heart that I report that Phara is in prison. She was on borrowed time since she was convicted and sentenced already. I'll post more as it becomes known to me.

They are trying to make Phara's right to self surrender because of some posts that she made on FB. I have attached both the government's motion and her lawyers' response. Please, please read these documents and share them. Please be on the lookout for more news regarding the case. I'll be the first to let you know if she makes it through this hearing!!
